Hoosick Regional Emergency Medical Services (formerly the Town of Hoosick Rescue Squad) is a dedicated, community-focused emergency medical services provider serving the residents and visitors of the Town of Hoosick and surrounding areas. Operating 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year, Hoosick Regional EMS responds to medical emergencies with highly trained EMTs, Advanced EMTs (AEMTs), and volunteer members committed to delivering compassionate, professional pre-hospital care.
Our AEMTs provide an advanced level of emergency medical care, bridging the gap between basic EMT services and paramedic-level interventions. This ensures that the community has access to timely, skilled care in urgent and life-threatening situations.
Beyond emergency response, Hoosick Regional EMS plays a vital role in community safety and outreach, supporting local events, providing public education, and partnering with regional agencies to strengthen healthcare access in rural communities. As a nonprofit organization, Hoosick Regional EMS relies on the dedication of its members and the support of the community to fulfill its mission of protecting health and saving lives.
